The Democracy Movement's Structure

The Democracy Movement is a large network of registered supporters and volunteer-run local branches, with a small full-time staff at its HQ in London. It is a tight campaign vehicle which has deliberately kept its hierarchy as flat, flexible and streamlined as possible.

Network of Local Groups

The Movement's large number of local groups across the country are each autonomous insofar as their internal structure is concerned.

The Movement is currently putting in place voluntary region-level organisers to improve liaison with and between local groups in their areas, and to assist in the setting up of new groups.

Our Finance

The Democracy Movement is funded only by donations from its supporters. Its projected annual expenditure is £150,000 and additional financing for special campaign projects is being sought from donors.

The Movement is registered for Data Protection with the UK Information Commissioner, No. Z8499276.
